@GenXGrownUp I found a suprising handheld in our local "Action" store here in Europe. Made by Iconic Arcade. Has Pac-Man, Pac&Pal and Super Pac-Man with Highscore saving. No NES-in-a-chip. Seems like an (or THE?) Arcade version. Maybe this could be an interesting thing? Only 13€.

You were too old for NES?. I bought it in 89, I was born in early '68. Atari 7800, SNES, PlayStation 1, N64 and PlayStation 2 also.

This is pretty cool, honestly. Like you said, it’s just a solid little novelty item. Galaga and Dig Dug in a tin with better D-pad placement would be great if they make more.

I don't think the hinges purely decorative I think of that hinge breaks the little flop flat and the screen will be swinging all over the place.

I have a pair of Pac-Man sleep shorts that came in a metal tin. They're super comfy, but Pac-Man definitely plays better on this than on my shorts. 😂

They should have rotated the whole bottom section, so that the + was in the lower left corner, instead on the top, right next to the hinge…

That "hinge" is there to keep the screen at a decent angle, otherwise it'd just flop back. Still a crappy place to put it considering all that open space on the right. And how 'bout sticking a logo or something on the battery door. It coulda been a "Fizz" logo. Something. Anything.
