I guess. Too much talking, interacting to people, texting and scrolling are the things that makes our brain overloaded. I am no doctor… but it's sensory overstimulation. I am very much affected by it. And my Migraine has become worse. I am trying Meditation and voluntary withdrawal from the society and it's customs.

I got diagnosed with adhd and thought taking a digital break would help (it did)
But eventually I realized just how much people are on their phones. I asked my fiance how much she’s on her phone or calling and she thought about it and said every second of every day. And usually there’s atleast two screens at any given moment. Even after I got rid of media I still missed the ability to just google questions I had. It’s crazy to think how influential phones are.

I went tech free for a week and found technology is what creates the feeling of boredom. a few days in I could lay on the floor for hours and be perfectly content; I faced my thoughts and dealt with how uncomfortable they made me. After going back to my phone, I quickly became overstimulated and boredom returned.

I love learning about phycology. Overstimulation being a part I am deeply looking into. I conducted a three day experiment over a break where I never looked at a screen (except that one time where I looked up where a restaurant was). By the third day, my overall mood was better and I had no sense of picking up a phone (unless it was to look up where a restaurant was). If I had spent longer in that state, I could have thought of something cool. The point being, getting away from your pocket demon isn’t that far away, but it feels like too big of a step. Maybe I should do a 7 day thing for a YT vid to show you how easy it is.

(Also those three days, I did physically touch grass with my hands, feet, and whole body. It was meant to be a joke for me and keep me entertained as well)

Ever since the Covid came into the Picture and all the dumb things they had us doing its caused a shakiness in my head at rest its feels like its has a small shaky feeling in my head > I researched a lot about the Covid My stores I shopped at even put stickers on the floors in directions in the isles and how far to stand away from people ar the registers and all their mask use It was like living in a world that I wanted no part of To think People believed in what one man was lying to us about and how one leader wanted us to get forced V for work It was like reading about what Hitler did to the Jewish people I felt like Evil people were in control of the US . II was reading my mind may just have been to over stimulated . Maybe that was the reason for all that to hurt our nervous systems .

I'm honestly really impressed by how you worded this whole video. Pretty sure this is a sign to help push myself from using my phone and looking at screens much less. Glad I came across this, plus I really love the ending it's a nice touch, with the words "When the product is free, you are the product."

Some thing I’ve noticed about the time that I most likely to reach for my phone isn’t when I’m bored but rather after getting a bunch of information and then there being a pause. For example, I take Spanish classes and after taking in a lot of information (words, grammar) after the class I immediately want to scroll. Or after reading a long passage in a book. It’s like my brain wants to take a moment to process everything it learned but instead I reach for my phone, it’s really odd actually

Newton, Newton, Newton all they ever talk about is Isaac bloody Newton who by many accounts was a complete and utter bastard. Try and slip Robert Hooke in on occasion, who Newton would probably delight in expunging from history, and help bring him the recognition he deserves.

Grant them the right to work for you? In other words, grant them the right to your data and if they get hacked? Hey , you granted them the right to work for ya.

These rich, powerful companies are smart. They must understand the human brain enough to know how addictions work. So basically, they use our addiction against us to make profit as we scroll for the end of time wasting our precious time and lives… kind of like a trap. We trade our free time making others rich.
