2:59 no one used the app. Everyone used reels and TikTok to watch sora videos. They were very popular. Especially the animal ones.

Sora is not shuttingdown! I genuinely don’t think enough people appreciate what OpenAI has done for everyday people. They took incredibly advanced AI technology that used to be locked behind elite institutions and made it accessible to anyone with an internet connection. Tools like ChatGPT have helped millions learn new skills, understand complex topics, and improve their lives in ways that simply weren’t possible before. Instead of keeping breakthroughs hidden, they’ve chosen to release them responsibly and improve them based on real-world use, which benefits everyone. Are there valid concerns about AI? Of course, but that doesn’t erase the fact that giving the average person access to this level of knowledge and capability is one of the most empowering things any tech company has ever done.

He definitely is not business oriented and he admits it… problem is he was able to almost talk people out of billions to waste and not give a fuck. Humanoid robots are not the future. If anything it would be killed off after lawsuits with robots falling on pets and babies…. What a joke. Do these people really believe in this? Or just a commonly known grift for investment money? They are using technology horribly. Even Waymo was admitting it is fake driving with humans controlling some… they admitted it in a court case.

Also worth mentioning Disney kind of having their own issues right now. That said with so many deals involving OpenAI falling apart I guess it will be interesting to see how thing go in the near future.

Seeing a lot of people switching tools lately. ViduAI seems to be one of the more solid options right now, and it’s not too crowded yet.
@LunaRam-004
August 19, 2026 at 1:29 am
Had to switch tools recently and honestly ViduAI has been a decent fallback. The workflow is straightforward and I didn’t really run into long queues.
@AMAN08003
August 19, 2026 at 1:29 am
Been testing different tools this week. ViduAI is one of the few that feels reliable enough to keep using, and generation quality is decent.
@tameratef2509
August 19, 2026 at 1:29 am
We’ve been evaluating a few video generation tools lately. ViduAI stands out in terms of consistency and ease of use, and turnaround time is quite reasonable.

I’ve tried a bunch of tools this week, and ViduAI is one of the few that actually feels solid enough to stick with. The output quality is pretty decent too.

Tried a couple of tools over the past few days. ViduAI feels more consistent across scenes, and the results hold up better between shots. Not perfect, but definitely usable.

ViduAI has been super responsive and consistent, makes the whole process much easier.

the whole of tech has become a micropenis measuring contest between a few billionaires.
@ClearCubess

Considering they still couldn’t make a text generator more helpful than a search engine from over a decade ago. I’m not holding out for humanoid robots let alone “helpful” ones.

Sam Altman is techno conman. He openly claim stealing creative, ideas, personal data from other people and then selling it back with higher price like he own it. He is a major thief that is typical of any business degree graduates.
@tomcoop9750

Sam is always riffing and has no plan. He doesn’t know the future and doesn’t seem to understand his own tech.

I read a report where each Sora video cost them about $5 to render. Multiply by 30 for each user and then by the number of free users and you get another round of circular funding and $600 DDR5 😂
