Oops Had A Breakdown

PushingUpRoses | September 18, 2026

Hey, it happens to the best of it, but we move. Mental health is hard and ongoing.

Here’s a very handy link that goes to other links if you are interested in anything I mentioned in the video.

I don't know if you are much into reading, but I think you would really like the Ash Bennett Series by L.A. Goodman. (modern day) Cowboys, aliens, witches, magic, lgbtq+ characters/themes, and lots of deep trauma. I am glad you are feeling better. I can't relate to your physical pains, but boy do I know that type of depression. It is super tough. I am glad you have understanding friends. Hope you continue to improve!

Please remember your mental health comes first before your subscribers. You're very important to me, especially since your Draw My Life video helped give me strength during a time when I was feeling my own self-destructive thoughts. Please don't feel like your under any pressure, as we all want what's best for you. I wish you nothing but the best in life, and that you have a very long and happy life 🌹🌹🌹🌹

Hanging been through this (to some degree, I'm male so obviously don't have uterine issues) but I've been through breakdowns and mental struggles and it's really so much more awful than most people know if they haven't experienced it. I'm so glad you're doing at least somewhat better now!

It's good to hear from you again. I'm sorry things have been rough for you these last few months. I'm so happy to hear you getting involved with the local stage show community. I've dealt with stuff before, nothing as intense as what it sounds like you've dealt with, but community and connecting with others has always helped even though yeah the thought of replying to a text seems so exhausting that I'd leave doing so on a mental to do list for weeks at times. You rock! And I'm very much digging the sweet flower pic!

FYI: Some channels have been taken down because of having links in the descriptions that link to "NSFW" sites (like OF). Council of Geeks recently posted videos explaining it.

I'm sorry you've had so much to deal with. It's good to see you back here again!

When you said this had started around early August, I related to that. However, when you were talking about how walking down the hallway was hard for you, I was not expecting to relate that much to something that specific. My OCD has been fuckin’ terrible lately, and it’s been hard for me to commit to doing anything. Leaving any app on my phone to go to the home-screen and taking my key out of the keyhole have been two things I’ve had a pretty much impossible time doing only once, or less than three times. Because of that, it’s really hard to do shit sometimes in my opinion. I don’t think I ever knew how much OCD and depression have in common in that department. It’s been getting better in a few ways recently, and I have to keep trying to make it. It was actually really nice to hear you talk about this because I think it could help me deal with all of this, and I thank you very much for that.

Also, β€œYeah, probably,” made me laugh. πŸ™‚

Its important to highlight this sort of thing for others who might be going through similar. Also, its smart not to talk specific drugs as people's experience are different.
    Glad you're getting better

If you are in the throes of depression, please, never feel like you are a "burden".
It feels good being able to help a friend that needs it, worse when you can't help a friend that needs help and the worst grieving for a friend.

Regarding upcoming stuff, ooh! I'm really interested to see those videos when they come out! The "Murder She Wrote" episodes are reliably charming; Tim Curry has made some great contributions to gaming, so I'm happy to see a tribute to him in that capacity; and I'm intrigued and excited to see the review! πŸ˜€

Speaking of "Murder She Wrote" and suggestions…

Did you know that there was a "Murder She Wrote" video-game? If you haven't already reviewed it, that might make for an interesting episode!

And finally, I'm so sorry to hear of your struggles of late! But really glad to hear of your support networkβ€”very much including the kitty!

Also: The flowers look cool! That last one in particular is nicely striking, both in form and depiction, I feel! ^_^

I didn't know you were Chicago based! I'm from Southern Illinois. I have family in Chicago! I'll tell them to keep an eye out for your free art. I'm going through some hormone stuff right now too and it's rough. I'm glad you are making progress. Your flowers are gorg. I look forward to your upcoming videos!! I was so sad when Dolly and Tim died (still am). Love you babes! πŸ’š

I definitely got not-always-stable energy from your channel over the years, and oddly I have found it comforting and relatable because I'm also on meds for a disorder, so yeah. Welcome back, fellow human. πŸ™‚

Glad that you're alive. Maybe one day I can entice you to stop off in Birmingham England and ride the tram (which is scheduled to open "Any day now, srsly trust me bro") to Historic Dudley.

❀🫢😻 so glad you have a furry friend watching out for you. Depression is harder than it looks. Can relate. 🫠πŸ’ͺπŸ˜πŸ«‚πŸ˜Ž

Oh Roses, that utterly sucks, I can only imagine how it must have been – I'm glad you're recovering though!!! And good luck with the Stage Manager work too – and also with London! I think Londoners might enjoy your flowers too! (If I lived in London, I'd be on the lookout for them in November!)
