Snow got a lot of respect from Toronto's Jamaican community. He grew up around Jamaicans and sang Irish songs that could morph into patois and back again … it's pretty amazing how close they sound.
You didn't mentioned that he was HUGE in the hispanic caribbean too, man was a legend among Puerto Rican, dominicans, and Venezuelans, many of our artists quote him as one of their favorites.

Snow was a legitimate gangbanger who's confession song got him famous.
