Great band, love the song. Amazing how similar the riff is to The Warning's "Kerosene".

Thankyou so much for including Hobart Tasmania as a part of your Australia tour. Being a small city not on mainland Australia we rarely get phenomenal international acts such as yourself perform for us. My fiancé and I had a blast watching you perform.

Eurovision news flash: Sam Battle, better known as Look Mum No Computer, has stormed the UK Eurovision entry this year with his experimental electronica track Eins, Zwei, Drei. Now imagine The Darkness taking on Eurovision in 2027 with experimental glam and a song titled Three, Six & Nine. Furious falsettos, outrageous ostinatos, Queen harmonies and AC/DC guitar riffing. A guaranteed shoo-in for Britain next year 🎸🎤🎵🎶🤩

It's fantastic that you have decided to focus on doing things that you really want and promote new bands you like that many of your fans have never heard off. Thanks for turning me on to these guys.

Been a while since a new JHRA episode. I've been listening to The Clearing by Wolf Alice and think it is a great album.
The Darkness / Wolf Alice would be a good pairing for a tour. Cheers.

Upcoming metal release of the moment must surely be William Shatner and his all-star cast of metal musicians. Can glam offer a counter-torpedo? With Messrs Sulu and Chekov launching a glittering rock counterattack from the bridge, it might become a warp-speed assault led by a star-studded fleet of hair- and glam-rock virtuosos.

What do you mean by "dance producers"? Dance music producers or dancers who produce?
Best "dance producers" I listen to, am aware of and know, play their music with analog instruments – analog synths. You have to know something about rhythm and music to be able to create a beat that drops with those instruments. You can't autocorrect anything etc.
And dancers… Oh brother. They are masters of the drop, static pauses are a key part of their craft. They pull the motion together. Dance without pauses would be like watching a dervish praying non-stop.
Shields BTW has named some dance music artists as her influencers.
One thing to note though. The drops in dance music alone mean different things based on the genre of the dance music.

Hi Justin rides again, I was wondering if the Darkshat have ever done a Christmas Album (like Thunder have) to cash in and remain relevant? I'm only asking because I'm organising these mp3's and it's really tedious, cheers … oh also where'd you get your dentures?

Dead pony are a cracking band. I saw them live supporting skindred at kk's in Wolverhampton and they are one of those bands that are even better live. I have since not only become a huge fan myself, but my 8 year old loves them too. I'm excited to see them live again.

With less than six months to go, it’s tempting to speculate on how The Darkness might salute Queen at Knebworth. Perhaps they arrive by helicopter, echoing the grandeur of 1986, “One Vision” blasts as the intro tape, Justin emerges in a flamboyant yellow catsuit, “Tie Your Mother Down” makes a triumphant return to the setlist, and, in a nod to bass history, Frankie Poullain hurls his bass across the stage in solidarity with John Deacon.
