Oliver Tree is dead at 32. On the morning of Sunday, June 14, 2026, two helicopters collided mid-air over Recreio dos Bandeirantes in the West Zone of Rio de Janeiro. Six people were killed. There were no survivors. Among the dead was Oliver Tree Nickell — the chart-topping singer, producer, and one of the most unclassifiable artists of his generation.

It's too bad that his entire public career was being a really ugly and dumb character. Who knows what plans he had for the future. I always assumed he would transition to a more normal look and persona, to sortof "come out as himself" after hiding behind the character.
