Northwoods wildlife deep in the heart of Voyageurs National Park
Not sure it gets any better than fall in the Northwoods! No bugs, beautiful colors, and crisp fall air. Here are some vignettes of Northwoods wildlife near a beaver dam as fall turned to winter deep in the heart of Voyageurs National Park last year!

Otter rolling in urine of predators in order to smell like a wolf. Instinctive protective behavior.

I wish I would have saved the Video on the reintroduction of Wolfs, back into the eco system, as the river area was over eaten by deer and other wildlife, and was being Destroyed, and in 5 years, it's Now back to almost wear it was 50+ years ago..

We may not view fellow animals the same but we can at least respect that their lives matter to them.
Let's try and go vegan for them.

0:04 is that a coyote? Reddest one I’ve ever seen if it is. Looks like a red fox body with a big coyote tail.
