Interesting thing about the choice of the name “motherless.” Misogynistic men have called women fatherless for any behavior from having consensual casual sex to just wearing something that individual man deems inappropriate. Yet when these men engage in genuinely shameful degenerate behavior they get to call it motherless as a fun joke. Because at the end of the day these men know what they’re doing, and they’re not ashamed. They’re laughing.

I really don't want to downplay the horrible things women have to deal with and most of what you discussed here is accurate and important for people to know and understand. However this CNN report is misleading AT BEST and outright lies at worst – bordering on right-wing propaganda. Note the telegram chat group had 1k members – not 62 million – 1k. That's a lot, sure – but it's a far cry from 62 million. The "millions" of people come from VISITS (not even distinct people) to the website hosting these videos – those videos generally had very few views in comparison to the rest of the videos on the website. The idea of a "r**e academy" is meant to stoke fear in women in order to provoke a reactionary response and give the authoritarians in our government more justification for cracking down on internet privacy/anonymity.

Technically not a woman myself, but without the vocabulary for otherwise, I thought I was at the time. I was 16 or 17. While waiting for the end of lunch, one of my schoolmates decided it would be funny if he groped me. I kicked him in the shins for it, but I was almost the one in trouble because my assailant was in the special ed classes and I was an honors student and was lectured “he doesn’t know any better” while he stood aside with a shit eating grin on his face oh so fucking proud of himself. He learned that from somewhere and no one dissuaded him before and I’m not sure anyone else reacted as I did when he did the same to them.
I don’t know if older men bothered with me. I was and am fat and not conventionally attractive and I don’t know how that saved me when I had a friend who was even bigger than me who had already been assaulted by an older man. Maybe my autism helped me miss any come ons bc social blindness, or maybe I somehow just avoided it. Or maybe the gym teacher allowing me to sometimes play Duel Masters with myself during class was his attempt to groom me that never panned out because I didn’t understand because it never went any further (if that was his intent, I’m not saying it was, but it’s been a possibility in the back of my brain for almost 2 decades now).
Either way, I still feel the pressure around, even now that I’ve long since understood I’m technically not a woman (but I am still read as one; a nonbinary person unable to transition anything while stuck living with conservative family members). How I want to go to the bar that’s a stone’s throw away from my house but not wanting to attract attention to my home. How I want to date, but without the ability to drive, moving in with someone is a huge gamble.
I don’t know. I should try therapy at least to work through this shit. I’m so tired.
