Judging also by the brief words uttered by the OP, he has a southern accent. This reminds me of things that we saw when I did community service near the Etowah burial mounds in Cartersville Georgia. We would see strange things in the early morning mist. There's a giant sports complex of soccer fields football fields ponds nature trail tennis courts and baseball fields right near the Etowah burial mounds.
