For some, the meaning of life is the love we share with friends, family, and our loved ones. Some others believe the existence of life in itself is what makes it worth living. But for nihilists, life is meaningless. All action, suffering, emotions both good and bad, are entirely senseless and meaningless.

This is Nihilism, the belief in nothing.

I consider myself a nilihlist but I do believe there is good and evil. If you start at the basic level 99.9% of people agree that harming children is wrong. We don't need a religion to teach us that. Proof of that is in the animal kingdom where animal parents defend their young some losing their lives in the process. So there is in inherent instinct in humans to protect the herd. You can go s step further in that animals will defend their mate. It doesn't mean that life in general has any meaning it just means that the survival instinct is at least there at the herd level. Humans are just animals that evolved in their thinking, brain power, to realize protecting the herd helps them. Having said that I don't agree with procreation. I never understood how anyone that knows life would ever give life to offspring that can't keep life.

Nah its not believe in nothing, thats stupid but maybe there are people who are so anyway, its good to meditate on nihilism because this failed reality is due to failed nihilism and the better thing is that the result is soliphism and thats awesome

I feel like a glass or mirror lying on a table when a light ray falls on me I truly understand my meaning

This is the reality we are used to seeing everything unfold instantly that most refuse to accept that what we have accomplished can be used to help others

Like that mirror that helped physict to understand the meaning of light(scientifically)

There is no goal or meaning in life, therefore we are free to do whatever we want and whatever comes to our mind, spread chaos and go nuts if you want, or heal and help people if you want, it doesn't matter. Don't obey strictly to the rules because rules were all made up by some other people, they are all just concepts and illusions that you choose to believe in. Knock yourself out guys. Listen less to what others say. – This is how I interpret Nihilism to myself.

To me, I logically explain "why would I choose the human over the animal" by saying that is somebody so significant to somebody else, and is irreplaceable, while my cat, for example, will die in a couple of years anyways and isn't gonna be grieved on the same level as I would grief my brother or sister or parent or partner…

The Latin pronunciation of 'nihal' has pronunciation that has two syllables. [Knee-úlL]
My phonetics are off, but the derivative of nihilism you phonetically use is not the same vocal sound as The Big River in Africa, it's 2 syllabled; which is more akin to knee (knell)
Nile is one syllable and spoken loudly it's… apropos anything.
    N[eye][ell]
    N[eee]L
    And
    【Nigh ELLĹ]
    Are all different.
    (I lost a bet)
