I have it on good authority that Jamie O'Hara's meltdowns on Talksport are legit, and although he and Jason Cundy are mates, Cundy really mugs him off. However, the higher ups won't put a stop to it because it gets clicks. Cundy for the record, is probably Britain's best broadcaster right now. On an absolutely phenomenal run.

I also have a strong dislike for Kiss, but my favorite band is Parliament-Funkadelic, and I've struggled in the past to differentiate why I hate the costumes and makeup of Kiss and give P-Funk a pass. I think they even used the same costume designer in the 70's. I eventually decided that it's because P-Funk has the musical chops and songs to back up the wild costumes and everything about Kiss, other than the stage show, is just…pedestrian.

    S. Bach came into Radioshack, Monmouth Mall, NJ asking me for D. batteries. and I asked "for what, a boombox?" and he laughed and left. and 20 years later ran into him at Jerry Cantrell's birthday, and told him the story and took a photo with him and Glen Hughes.

Reformed Weezer fan here. Island in the Sun isn't a great song but it may as well be Wichita Lineman compared to Kokomo.

That part is from their remix album to Hybrid Theory, Reanimation. They collaborated with Jonathan Davis from Korn for the remix of One Step Closer, and the part Chester is singing is his added refrain to the remix.

That neo-grunge song sounds like half a Supergrass song stitched together with half a Nirvana song. I can't quite place the bridge though.

I actually saw a Drops Of J Tour shirt in the wild yesterday.
Re: Mike Shinoda, can confirm he is the guy. I think he's self-aware enough to know he's not the best performer in the group (despite how he hogged the mic in that clip), but it is his baby.
I really bagged on Hybrid Theory back in the day, but I did come around to liking them a lot later on. I actually think their 4th album is a masterpiece. But they seemed really insecure about their status among critics and overcorrected wildly in different directions instead of really zeroing in on what they were best at. The newish album with the female singer is them finally playing it safe and doing exactly what people expect them to do. Smart move I guess, but I don't know if they're really gonna keep it going.

5:09 Barenaked Ladies? As a Canadian who bought their first independent cassette tape in Toronto in 1991, all I can say is: Without Steven Page, the current Barenaked Ladies are nothing more than the Somewhat Questionably-Attired Females. Steven was both the heart and the soul of that band.

10:45 There was a chance that I could have gone my entire life without knowing there was a singer named Jizzy Pearl, and my life would have been short a few really satisfying late night snickers. And I don’t mean the chocolate bar, (candy bar for Americans) which also really satisfies.

22:43 OMG you read my mind! I was thinking the exact same thing that he may say “This is where the magic happens.” 🎉😂
