    When I discuss that the US and Israel are settler colonies some folks say that pretty much all countries have engaged in settler colonialism to some extent. I think this is false bc settler colonialism is foundational to the US, Israel, Canada, New Zealand, Australia. Settler colonialism isn't foundational to China, Iran, Egypt, etc. Am I correct or is there a better way to explain it to friends and family?

    I would like to hear Nick’s opinion of Lenin’s analysis of imperialism: “If it were necessary to give the briefest possible definition of imperialism, we should have to say that imperialism is the monopoly stage of capitalism”.

    Colonization happens in the mind also. If you dont give up your cultural heritage and spiritual essence then you will always have the possibility to return to the spiritworld and there recreate your land by the grace of the Great Spirit. this is no joke, the manifestation of soul and spirit happens on quantum level, you see, the cause and effect in quantum world.     Nick, you should try to talk to Prof. Norman Finkelstein about settler colonialism in Israel. I really do think that academics like yourselves would have a very illuminating and fruitful discussion.

    Thank you. An important aspect of the current conflagration, and the genocidal murderous actions of Israel in Gaza, and towards the Palestinian people as a whole, is understanding its role vis a vis not just colonialism but what the central ideology of colonialism is; white, racist supremacy. In this respect, Israel must be seen as that small part of the 'territory' that defines the entire map of the territory. Its savagery is intentional. it's a kind of macabre dog whistle to its creators and sponsors, fetishistically giving them the genocidal view and embodiment of what they wish to do to the rest of non-white humanity, whose humanity they don't consider equal to theirs, given the chance; hence the tacit support of western governments, a kind of normalisation of mass murder. This, I believe is the essential role of the horror show Israel is putting in front of wider humanity, and why its important, for the sake of Life on the Earth that people of conscience stand up and call out this insanity.
