I was listening to Bloody Valkyria while playing Dragon Quest and was thinking how well the music pairs with a good fantasy game… then remembered they put out that Elden Ring-inspired album last year, so clearly they agree! I think I'll be listening to a lot more of this band.

the new nervosa album is disappointed for me. The previous album (Jailbreak) was great and 1 of better Nervosa albums IMO. This album has to few pure old school thrash metal parts and i don't like the more death metal parts with melodic elements. I didn't like the more death metal direction Nervosa was going with Fernanda Lira and was hoping Nervosa focust more on thrash metal when she left and started Crypta. This album is not for me.

dungeon synth -summoningepic -fantasy -firienholt and show me album art like that and its an instant buy . Forlorn Citadel added to the list . I listen to as much dungeon synth nowadays as metal , i just like to lose myself in it and escape . Every month you find me a class band in this vein@DashingViperAz

I was so excited for this week's list. I was hoping you would do the Nervosa – Slave Machine. It is such a great album. I got mine on Monday and listened to it Tuesday night. Just an amazing album. I was not disappointed. The first 3 songs are a great way to start this album. A nice surprise was the song 30 Seconds. Thank you so much for your reviews each week. You do great and a lot of these bands are bands I never heard of before. Have a great rest of the week!

New Lantlos dropped last week. As much as I liked the two previous albums and was looking forward to this one, I was rather disappointed. Not a fan of the happy and plasticky direction they've taken.

Do you know the band Hierophany? It's a black metal band from Mexico. Very powerfull and atmospheric.
