Great to see the guys from Hecate Enthroned getting some air time! Just my personal opinion of course but for me they just made the best symphonic black metal album that I've ever heard. Absolutely incredible work.

The Moth is incredible. It's going to take me a while to fully process, I mean it's a lot to take in, but even at this stage it's his most exciting release for me since Empath. It's always surprised me that he's done limited film/media soundtrack work because I could absolutely see him doing an incredible score for an epic sci-fi/fantasy film. The Afterlife portion of this in particular really showcases this.

Thanks for the suggestions this week. I will have to give a listen to Crocell, Deus Saboth and Belialed for sure. I feel that The Scalar Process record is just "ok". They definitely are showing their influences throughout the runtime. For me they sound too much like The Harvest Wombs era Fallujah which I will have to pass on. I suppose if someone is new to atmospheric prog/tech death they would be a good band to start with if they're unfamiliar with Fallujah or Rivers of Nihil, however.
