What do you think will matter most to Maine voters in this Senate race: affordability, candidate character, party control, or the desire for change?

I think progressives gave us a lame duck, and it shows since MAGA has been discovered funding Platner's primary campaign through semi-hidden pacs like "Charge Left" etc.

Platner is still trending up. That’s a good sign. However, the sheep will follow whatever faux tells them to so there’s always going to be that. Until Dems get the balls big enough to get them off the air.

A vote for Collins is a vote for Trump who is responsible for our crappy economy and has a much more scandalous and corrupt history than Platner could ever dream of having 👍🏻🤦🏻‍♂️🇺🇸

Susan Collins' record is the exact reason Platner is running. Maine deserves a senator that will make life better. Come on Maine vote her OUT. Don't be distracted.

The hypocrisy from the media needs to stop. Graham Platner is disqualified for inappropriately grabbing a woman, while those who have raped them enjoy great media status

If Republican candidates were the lowest form of sleaze bags their voters would love them for it, if Democratic candidates aren't perfectly pristine and perfect democratic voters will hate them

Dementia Dottie is VERY concerned! She will slither away in shame. We The People of Maine deserve someone who supports The Constitution and doesn't enrich $$$$$ themselves at the expense of Mainers! Vote Graham for your childrens' futures! 🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊🌊

So, DJT offended Canada and turned them against us. I guess that Maine likes that their neighbor to the North is cutting them off like a bad apple? Maine looks fickle.

If Susan's negative came inspite of Platner, then why would his personal negatives now be a reason for forgetting about Susan's own negative?…totally different reasons. Susan's negatives have to do with policies of age, Trump, Republicans and SCOTUS judges. Those factors are still prevailing…But Roe v. Wade is now dead, RVA is no more, Trump's anti democracy policies are raging…Susan supported and voted for all those. The SCOTUS nomines who said R v. W was settled law have now changed it. There is word that Susan has also had previous marital scandals…how about that??? Judge Platner on policy not personal reasons, They say Susan has similar personal history.

IMHO, I believe that Platner will lose SOME voters over the scandals/controversies. But I don’t think it will be enough to derail his win.

If I were a betting man, I would say that he will still eke out a win, but by a tight margin! He would have had a “comfortable” win, if not for the so called “character issues”.

IMO he was ahead of Collins by about 6 to 7 percentage points prior to all the controversies. He most likely will lose 2 to 4 percentage points on the character stuff!

In normal times, I would have said Collins would most likely win. But these are not normal times.

The country is going to a hell in a hand basket on the most IMPORTANT issues that people are concerned about: ECONOMIC and KITCHEN TABLE issues! Affordability, Cost of Living, Inflation, Healthcare etc. Due to this, the winds are STRONGLY behind the Dems. And that’s why I believe he will pull out a victory!

Look what happened in the VIRGINIA ATTORNEY GENERAL election last year!!

Jason Miyares, the Dem, was predicted to lose, for sure, due to MUCH WORSE scandals where he had sent text messages wishing his opponent death (or something like that)

Polls had him losing, and yet he won, albeit by a MUCH tighter margin that the Gov. and Lt. Gov. He won in spite of everything, due to the EXTREMELY bad current political environment for the Republicans!!

The politicians talk about his tattoo and texting, but they never talk about Susan Collins sexual exploits! Early in her career, she had an affair with a married man whose wife is dying of cancer. When you take away someone’s support system when they have cancer, you’re basically giving them a death sentence! Yes, I am speaking of Susan Collins. Current husband is the man who left his wife with cancer after Susan Collins had an affair with him! But nobody out there in the news world I talk about what she has done that’s disgusting and horrifying to do to a human being! Instead of dealing with facts that Susan Collins is a horrible person they decided to deal with allegations about texting and tattoos. Somethings not right with a media. It’s sad living here in the state of Maine and no one will say a word about Susan Collins in a horrific actions. She’s just an awful person!

Platner has months to hammer the Republicans for making food expensive, for making gas expensive, for making all kinds of insurance premiums financially crushing. And all they have are some vague bad dating memories, the worst of which are outright lies.

By November, his college dating will be forgotten, but prices, rents, interest rates will not become more affordable. Most prices will remain high and some will continue to go up. The economic forces will not suddenly reverse themselves because Trump yells crooked fake news.

For anyone to be considering voting for Collins again after she took our dam healthcare and help trump f us over lets us no they like being f and they are as dumb as trump. Because she will continue to pass trump shit ok

Maine voters please help us put some Checks and balances on Trump’s insanity. We need the senate to keep our democracy. Platner is a flawed person like most of us but Collins has actually cast votes that have hurt the nation.

Margin of error, Hmmm, it seems to me Platner is trending UP and Collins is trending DOWN as every poll has Graham winning that respective poll. So if there is no late Gamesmenship ie. shenanigans Platner will be the Senator from Maine in January.

I hope the blue wave goes through whole united states and then we can throw donald trump in jail for treason and get all of our money back and take his name off.Everything he's doing. It's a shame that we cannot take him out right now and make him get out of the white house.I think when november comes and we vote him out.Or vote to impeach him, get him out.I still don't think he'll leave.I think he'll try to overthrow the government again like you did the first time around.I think it's sinful that we allow this man to be in president right now.The man can't stay awake can't make his mind up and he says it, they'll never have a nuclear bomb. And I bet you can guarantee you that he will sell them a nuclear bomb before he gets out of office.Just so he can put more money in his own pocket
