Very cool. In the 80's, kid's jaws would have dropped to the floor seeing a Galaga/Galaxian so small with identical play as a fullsize arcade machine. The future is here.

Not sure if anyone else has noticed this, but the highscores list shows the correct score in the number 1 position. All the other scores underneath shows only the default 20000 score even tho they are your scores with the initials besides them.
This pixel pocket player pro also has alot better screen and viewing angle than those pocket player pro's.

44 years ago I would have never imagined that a whole cabinet machine of Galaga would be shrunk down to be worn on a keychain, that looks exactly like the big one. Amazing.

I always love playing galaga even though I'm kind of young it's one of my favorite video games so when they made this thing I had to buy it I'm saving up to buy my own arcade machine one day just to experience the game at its full potential but I feel like this would do

Wow…. they may have gotten one right….. still think they are a waste. and that size is more than capable to handle flash ROM/RAM( it's probably right on the micro controller) To me, it would be pure lazy not to put such scoring features. This looks like emulation since you have those very familiar boot up screens.

But…does the high score stay if you remove the batteries. As yoru gonna need to change them at some point..maybe when out and about. So does it still hold the high score?

Why the screwdriver?!?! Isn’t that more cost from a manufacturing standpoint? Why not have the battery compartment just attach with a clip? Everything is like this now, even all our holiday decorations. It makes taking batteries out for storage a total chore.

They really do look like the real arcade versions. I just checked and in Canada it's $42 which is a bit high. But I see the Atari one playing 2600 games comes with 25 games !

I wonder if the screen resolution matches 1:1 meaning 240 x 320? The way they often blow it on these things is using an odd screen resolution that doesn't match giving ugly scaling artifacts.

Do all of them save highscores? Even Tetris for example. The Mega Man looks great, but it probably has no save function.

It would have like it more if they added a mini ball top joystick in it / there are a little bit pricey at 30 dollars each / 20 dollars would be a better price point for them in my opinion

Been looking forward to these devices for months! Will be picking up the Mega Man and Data East pockets.
I foresee a Comparison/VS video of the pixel pockets against the hyper mega tech micros soon 👀
Would love too see how the Space Invaders, Atari and Data East devices stack up against each other since they share the same games.
