When I was younger my mom served me peas. I told her if I ate them I'd throw up. She thought she was calling my bluff and made me eat them. I was not bluffing, it was not intentional, I still can't eat peas 😂

You are going to get as much of the chocolate cookie as you eat of this plate.
    Ok (not having understood)
    She ate half.
I cut the cookie in half.
Hey why you are giving me only half
    Half plate, half cookie.
And if I eat another bit
You get a bit more of cookie

She cleaned the plate. Try it out

As a kid I never liked peas or carrots, or potatoes, and a bunch of other stuff like that..
But when I grew up I just realised that my mom was a terrible cook, the potatoes would be hard and flavourless, the peas would be hard and overdone, the carrots would be hard and undercooked, and all would have just been boiled in water, with no flavourings except a bit of salt sprinkled on at the end.
I was totally shocked as an adult to find out that I actually liked all of this stuff when it was cooked properly.

Don't negotiate, spank their ass. You're the reason we have rioters in the streets throwing tantrums because they can't get their way. Bunch of spoiled brats their parents let them do whatever they wanted because they don't actually care or love them enough to tell them "No!"

    0:28 My response as a late 30-something:

    "YUCKY!!!"

I will eat all of the chicken and a helping of corn, off the cob. I will not touch the peas or carrots.

I was a picky eater as a kid. I dunno…have you tried a different vegetable? There were plenty of vegetables that I liked – broccolli, green beans, lettuce, cucumbers, aspargus, etc. My mom was just bothered whenever there were ANY vegetables that I didn't like. I'll never understand why it was so important to her that I ate EVERY vegetable; why is it important that your kid eat peas and carrots? If there's any vegetables they like, call it a win and go with that; I have never seen one of my nephews EVER eat a green vegetable.
