I strongly concur with SilentBear. I, too, see no downsides to granting clemency to Mr. Peltier. It some in the FBI object, they have no leverage. And I've spoken to FBI employees int he past year–they had never heard of Leonard Peltier.

How come no questions on Clemency for Leonard Peltier? Her support could be a game changer but she hasn't uttered one word publicly about him since she became Sec. of the interior? It's astounding. If she called for a press conference tomorrow and encouraged Biden to do it he just very well may. A public proclamation from her just might generate enough support to get it done. What is she afraid of losing? In my book, she and Biden have everything to gain and little to lose. They could make history as the ones that finally stood up and did it and righted the wrong.
