A hymn is a song meant to be sung together. With a little faith, hope, and feeling involved. This one just trades the church pews for something a little more country. It feels like a pretty good soundtrack for the people and places that make this country what it is.

And what better video to share on Election Day? A little reminder that we’re all in this together.

Vote to look out for your neighbors. Vote to take care of each other. Vote to remember that the whole point is making life better for the people around us.

The first time we heard Nathan Evans Fox sing this song, it took off in a viral video he made. The voice, the power and the message was enough to convince us of doing a field recording.,

When we asked him to come record it, we thought it was gonna be a solo vid. We had no idea he’d show up with a whole gang of ridiculously talented musicians. But it seemed like it was all those voice he preached in his recording were all there at once.

We see the world in these people. We hear the echoes of the people we need to care for, the voices and stories that surround Nathan’s orbit. And we want to say to all of them… you are loved, you are wanted, and we’re here for you.

Because beyond the music, these are the voices worth fighting for. The people worth showing up for.

So here’s to Jobi Riccio, Graciela Armendariz, Emily Hines, Lizzie No, Olivia Evans, Clover-Lynn, and Nathan Evans Fox for making this with us.
