My Melania Legal Battle Has Only Just Begun: Wolff | Inside Trump’s Head

The Daily Beast | May 24, 2026

Michael Wolff and Joanna Coles unpack a week of chaos inside Trumpworld, beginning with Wolff’s explosive courtroom setback in his legal fight with Melania Trump and delving into what they describe as a justice system warped by Trump’s influence. From a mysterious $1.8 billion “slush fund” settlement and the ongoing culture of intimidation around the media, to Don Jr.’s lavish Bahamas wedding conspicuously missing one major guest—his own father—the episode peels back the dysfunction, rivalries, and raw narcissism driving the Trump family. Wolff and Coles also dissect Tulsi Gabbard’s abrupt exit, Pete Hegseth’s latest foreign policy blunder, Jeff Bezos publicly praising Trump while cashing in on the new political order, and the surreal possibility that former Brexit architect Steve Hilton could become governor of California.

Michael, you are a SERIOUS litigator. You are TOUGHER than the big shots like Paramount who caved to Trump, not just to cancel The Late Show with Stephen Colbert, but to pay a tribute of $16 million.

America is now seen to be what it probably has been for decades, the most blatantly corrupt country in the supposed democratic world . Trump is doing crimes in America and other countries, the difference is he blatantly doing this in full view, and does not care , Republicans have allowed criminals to take control of the DOJ and the Supreme court, trust in America is dead .

A "spat"? Isn't that the case with many adversarial judicial cases? The judge really did kick this can down the road, but maybe it'll work in Michael's favor because it goes back to state court.

This case really does highlight the deep and long-lasting damage that DJT has done to the US judiciary.

Let us not forget that Bezos is a retailer — one who revolutionized the retail experience and we must admire him for re-inventing that experience as well as contributing to the staggering debt that he’s brought to the world…he’s one of America’s wonderful billionaires — yuck.
But he’s no genius. Just look at the direction of his personal life in the last few years. As Trump would say, ‘sad’….

Has Brexit done well to the UK? Apparently economic consensus and independent studies aren’t so positive about it. The recent political policies of the current American regime have indeed led to the UK distancing itself somewhat from its “forever-buddy” America, certainly regarding defense and the Russian aggression (war with Ukraine) and seems to align more with the European view on the matter…… That must be, of course, a major disappointment for fans of Trumpian politics, especially if you wish to keep Europe small, meaningless (i.e. poorly protected and to start the hunt for primary minerals…) and continue to view it as a paper tiger (encouraging herein Putin’s wet expansionist dream).

In America, the rule of law has become the rule of the jungle!!!! Riddled with corruption across many hollowed out government agencies and departments which previously were respected by the electorate, respect for the dysfunctional Trump administration is now in freefall. As the nation spirals towards economic and societal catastrophe, unless the current criminal administration is removed soon, the collapse of a civilized America, will come well before 2028!!!!

Trump's judge obviously sat on the fence so she didn't offend Trump. In doing so she is now between a rock and a hard place. I hope the case goes back to the state and justice will be served.

It sounds like Melania Trump changed her legal address from New York to Florida around the time Michael Wolff sued her. Suspicious timing?
