The family court problem doesn't really work the way most people think it does. Most custody agreements are negotiated out of court, and most men don't actually seek joint/full custody because they were never the primary parent.
Fathers who fight for custody typically get it. Even 30 years ago, 94% of fathers who sought custody got sole or joint custody. In one study where both parents fought hard for custody, mothers were awarded custody just 7% of the time.
And fathers who abuse the children's mother still have a good success rate, because judges tend to think that's not relevant. In one review, researchers found that, even in cases of proven, documented violence, family courts aimed to maximize children’s time with fathers. (Even bringing the accusation can damage the mother's chances because of the made up nonsense that is parental alienation syndrome.)

Listening and thinking to content from a variety of sources will make you a more powerful communicator.
Disagree with brothers? All the time! But I listen to their stupid arguments anyway, ha ha.

im 15 and been thinking about maybe during college or something start doing video essays specifically about modern societal analysis especially since im already on the course track to go into a sociology major. watching this has def helped a lot and makes that a more accessible and clear option for future reference. also love your vids and recommend them to friends constantly. you and khadija are top tier creators that deserve much more attention.

loved this video. it's so hard to grow a channel on youtube and this is a hugely invaluable resource to provide some constructive criticism to people. reminds me of being in college during my art classes lol

It's funny to think of this as being the introduction to Aranock on the channel given that they've become something of a fixture going forward, given that they've contributed on live streams and done art and animations for FD's videos. It all started here with FD critiquing their video.

Also, your comments are for real helpful! When I did film classes, we had fellow students give us critiques on scripts, directing, editing, sound design, EVERY aspect, and it helped improve all of us GREATLY throughout the course!

The other thing about hosting a podcast on the same channel is that the youtube algorithm doesn't always know what to do with that since for the most part podcasts kid of get pushed into other areas than other types of videos.

Rod's Variety Hour has gotta speak up and sit back from the mic. There's a huge difference between your voice speaking quietly and close to the listener and loudly from a distance. Even the closest forms of theatre has some distance between the cast and audience so the cast can use their vocal instrument to its best! He's so close to being my 101% favourite youtuber, he's getting so good.

TikTok editing can be funny and entertaining but it's visually exhausting. Definitely not beneficial for long form analysis videos imo
