As someone who watched the "Master and Margarita" movie in Russian, I'm surprised they didn't just translate the cat's name.. he is called "Behemoth" or Begemot – which is just Hippo in Russian lol

Master and Margarita is a pretty damn good book. It has comedy, love story, alternative story of Jesus Christ and a social commentary on the early Soviet Russia (written in the early 30's it's been banned untill the 80's). Bulgakov is the GOAT.
