This was my first introduction to Pitch Meeting.
My GF wanted to see the movie, and so we rented it on some streaming whatever.
And I can't remember if she fell asleep or got called into work… but I ended up watching it alone. And just teased her relentlessly about it. "You have no idea the madness you sat me to watch."
I found this and showed it to her. Now, "super easy, barely an inconvenience" is a household phrase. 😂❤

It is an open secret thst Hollywood scriptwriters have been on strike for a very long time already. Studios have been scrambling to survive with sequels, prequels, reboots and remake. Untill one CEO listened to his children play, and suddenly realized the endless potential of original stories right in his own backyard 😂

Can you imagine a woman of colour having IBS in a modern movie? Me neither.
Otherwise, I like the madnness of the film. It's like a throwback to the 1950s when sci-fi movies imagined invaders coming from Mars and Venus.

2:40 btw. for anyone actually interested in this 😀 Its not a plot hole in this case. Helicopters are not drones or antigravity flying magical boxes. A helicopter can accelerate directly upwards as fast as it can go forward and even, which is maybe less obvious, it cant climb nearly as fast when it climbs directly upwards without any horizontal velocity. So in this case, if they wanted to escape the wave, making a U-turn while climbing is actually the best bet.
