    Two things can be true:

1.) Fraud is taking place—and has been for some time. Anyone engaging in it must be held accountable.

2.) Nick Shirley’s bullshit video is nothing but pure propaganda and racist lies, aimed at demonizing a minority group and justifying the deployment of ICE agents to terrorize that very same minority community (and other immigrant communities) in Minnesota.

They need to stop acting like it’s exclusively Somali people doing these health care fraud schemes. ITS EVERYONE. All races. All around the country. I admit there is no denying that there is a lot of Somalis doing this fraud in minnasota and it is a huge problem. But it’s not right to paint the picture of all Somali people like that. Also I don’t think nick shierly is racist. I do believe his heart is in the right place, but he needs to be more aware of how his content can feed racists narratives. He can do his investigative journalism content and all that but has to be careful of how he portrays the Somali people. I have a feeling he doesn’t know how powerful the internet really is in shaping how society and everyday people see the world

That video is a bunch of half-truths and exaggeration presented by a racist conspiracy nut. It reeks of great replacement theory, ESPECIALLY when Shirley compared the Minnesotan flag to the Somalian flag. He’s going off pure instinct on that one.

The most damning bit for me was when David no last name essentially implicated every single Somali person? He basically said because they’re kind of a gated community, that every Somali is in on the scam.

He also claimed to be “chased out” by Somalis, and originally I imagined something a lot more violent. Both Nick and David describe Somali people as very violent. But the most pushback they got was from a random somali (I assume) guy who wasn’t affiliated with the building whatsoever, and who they basically just harassed after being asked to leave. And he didn’t even threaten them! He got his phone out and recorded them because yeah I also would be sick of a racist loser harassing me if I were him.

Nice try… the ENTIRE STATE is made up of Corrupt Blue State politicians —- The citizens convicted a Scammer, but Leftoid Judge Sarah West, substituted her opinion in place of the unanimous jury who convicted the defendant.

This woman does make a lot of good points, though it feels rather cherry picked. I watched a few clips at best so I don't have all the info, but that youtuber kid apparently visited other types of companies. One time he was looking for transportation companies and found a liquor store at the address.

Additionally, a lot of her points, albeit unnecessarily sarcastic, are real but she provides no further information. As a person just looking to get the facts right she only confuses me.

Can’t believe anyone would even try to defend this sh!t LOL 😂 what do you possibly gain by defending people who have defrauded your state so shamelessly and brazenly? Just blows my mind how people will change their stance based on their what “their side” says about something.

Scratch out “Somalians” and insert “Jews” or “Juden” and you have a deeper understanding of how the holocaust happened so easily in WWII Germany and how recognizable the new Nazi playbook is in today’s USA. My critical thinking skills say widespread fraud is more likely committed by well-funded people With insider knowledge of how the system works – not a specific ethnic group of little means…and that a convenient diversion and distraction is to blame significant insider fraud on a hated marginalized minority group.

I agree with all your points about the original video. It was bad journalism. Yet I'm pretty sure it's fraud. Maybe not systemic fraud but there is for sure fraud. It's not that hard to believe in the first place. When I was in Vallarta there would be so many businesses that were so obviously fraud. Which also makes sense since Puerto Vallarta is run by the Jalisco New Generation Cartel. The clues to fraud are businesses that look successful but are super empty all the time and have full time employees that don't do anything or do the bare minimum. That's not to say the people working at these businesses are bad people they probably know there's fraud but from their perspective they aren't directly hurting anyone they get a comfy job and can feed their families. Fraud is never about the people at the bottom it's the people at the top that are responsible. No hate, I'm sure people will think I'm hating but its not hate it's just how the world works. I honestly don't even care about fraud but I do dislike when people are tricked into defending fraud while at the same time being the victims of fraud.
