I liked Stryper as a kid in the 80s, but their music hasn't evolved. Today I find it boring and repetitive, while the lyrics remain adolescent and trite.

That’s absolute nonsense. When someone is truly part of the band, they aren't treated like a hired hand. You rehearse together, go over the parts, and everyone adds their own flavor to the songs—even if it turns out a bit different. That’s what bands do. If a guy can handle playing live, he can handle playing in the studio; what people say otherwise is rubbish. It’s all just an excuse to talk about personal issues. If you’re really part of the band, the band adapts to you—that’s what truly creating music together is all about.

Timothy Gains got fired because he Sinned against God by committing Adultery from what I heard…as for him not playing for few albums, makes no sense if his pictures is in all first 5 albums

Go watch Billy Corgan's interview with Mr. Michael Sweet…He admits that he is difficult to work with…Each member brings there talents to a group…There are times when outside help comes into to work on recordings in the studio…Done all the time…If Mr. Gaines can play with Aldo Nova he can cut the mustard, period…😉👌

I met him MS. Asked him for advice for my singer who was struggling. He said he took vocal lessons from GLORIA BENNET & recommended her! I said thanks! He was very nice, laid back, & approachable!😊

THE FACT IS they kicked Tim out cause he divorced his Wife and started dating a new Woman. Tim exposed the whole story on his FB page. MEANWHILE… MS MET HIS CURRENT WIFE AT HIS FIRST WIFES OWN FUNERAL AND MARRIED HER WEEKS LATER!!! BTW, THE NEW WIFE WAS A STRIPPER!!! MS DID admit he lost ALOT of Friends AND FANS because of what he did. HYPOCRITE MUCH??!! I have NO respect for ANY of the guys anymore and their music post Tim SUCKS!!!!

That sux because I thought Tim was an awesome bass player. I was lucky enough to catch Stryker on their first tour as well as their second ( Yellow and Black Attack , Solidiers Under Command ). He sounded amazng both times.

I saw Tim play from just two meters away in last tour here in italy… he had incredible technique and attitude… he was absolutely hammering the ball! 🤣…..

The best decision Stryper ever made was to continue touring after Michael ditched the band during the Against The Law tour. The other 3 guys proved they didn't need Michael and the fans got to see it for themselves. Oz handled all the vocals and guitars himself and he was outstanding! The worst decision Stryper ever made was allowing Michael back in the band to resume his power trip.
