Metallica Perth Concert Ends in Chaos and Arrests

Rock Feed | January 25, 2026

Metallica is finally back Down Under for the first time in over a decade — and their Perth show was absolutely wild. With 60,000 fans packed inside Optus Stadium, two concertgoers decided to climb a massive tower for a better view… and it didn’t end well. Police rushed in, chaos broke out, and the crowd couldn’t believe what they were seeing.

They tried to reenact that "Cunning Stunts" stage-destruction scene… 🤡 – That said, some people also did this crap with Rammstein, which brought a bunch of massive towers with flamethrowers and such (basically the same principle as what MetallicA brings along, and there tend to be multiple ways you could quickly get up there, always being in the middle and then with other things to climb around it, even if there are lots of officials around.

If you are not for the true God then you are against Him.

Rebellion is evident and the darkness is more attractive than the light for many! Worshipping evil without properly recognising it so = spiritual blindness/ small g god of this world👹WOE!

    🚨⏰📖👀
    2 Corinthians 4:4 KJV
[4] in whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.

    Isaiah 5:20 KJV
[20] Woe unto them that call evil good, and good evil; that put darkness for light, and light for darkness; that put bitter for sweet, and sweet for bitter!

Past dumb. Some people feel proudly dedicated to show the world how dumb they are. Like buying tickets to Metallica committing to going to the concert, do something incredibly dumb and be removed and miss the whole concert. Call these two Dumb and Dumber.

Not a big deal. Who can blame them. They'll get a slap on the wrist at Court. Probably a 'Good Behaviour Bond' or 'No Conviction Recorded'. They're probably clean-skins and the Magistrate won't want to wreck their futures.

Yep. This happened right in front of me. As soon as the artillery fire intro to 'One' started, they bolted through the crowd, jumped the fence and were up there instantly. Security were patrolling the perimeter of this area all night but were not not there when these guys did what they did. One indian security guy reluctantly scaled the tower after them, at about a quarter of the pace, constantly looking down at how high up he was and it was like he was thinking 'I don't get paid enough for this shit' (even though he didn't do his job properly in the first place). He came down after having a word with them and the two guys stayed up there. When they eventually came down, the police were already there waiting at the bottom. Both of these guys were on something as when they were getting arrested, you could clearly see they were buzzing with their eyes wide open, pupils dilated and they were also sweating profusely. Great concert though. The sound quality, lighting and screen graphics were superb.

If shits going to go down, its gonna be Perth! In fact Perth is so rougue that WA is classed as a seperate country here lol.
Perth concerts goers have ruined many music events and a lot of artist refuse to play at Perth as they dont want that kind of BS attached to their brand.

Official statements from the Western Australian Police stated as follows:

WTF do you expect when Metallica waits nearly 15 years to return to Australia 🇦🇺!? 😂
