today we do a bit of a social experiment and hit the streets to see if metal screams are really just talentless noise that everyone can do, or if they actually take training and proper technique! It does take a certain bit of talent, the day I figured it out at a drunken party show it hit and I started adding backup vocals in the bands I play in lol

I learned I could death growl on accident in high school while in a band. Fried screaming however, just haven't been able to grasp it.

Started teaching myself to scream almost three years ago, and I never thought I could have epic screams. Now I can hit Chester's 18 second scream in "Given Up". It can be done, and you can do it too.

Theyre also not doing it cuz it takes a lot of willpower to do it in a quiet public setting. If it was during loud music or while everyone else is doing it then they would do it more
