Hinestly he should release another Hidden Treasures with all the songs he has credits for. I mean Metallica used his music to propel themselves into mainstream. Turn about is fair play and it would introduce tons of young tallica fans into Megadeth and increase their popularity before Mustaine does his album with Elektra which is 100% going to happen and will be his LULU but what dad wouldnt want to spend that much time with their adult daughter and make those memories. And evsn if it was a mild success it could lead to more. I think hes retiring his voice not his guitar.

Would be cool to cover all his Mrtallica songs (or contributions minus 4 horseman bc THAT is HIS song. He even wrote the breakdown Metallica used that he didnt like. Not sure why Ulrich even has a credit on it. James wrote the new lyrics(likely bc legal said they had to).

So Dave brought by far the best song on KEA to Metallica.
Metallica shouldnt have uses it. Im sure legal was all over it. Guarantee Am I evil and Blitzkrieg were planned recordings in case legal gave thumbs down on 4 horsemen and jump in the fire or phantom lord.

Megadeth is superior. Everyone knows that. Plus cutting your hair short is a disgrace. Metallica doesn't care about poor people who had to pirate their music through napster. Greedy materialistic mofos. You'll get your reward in the afterlife when satan gives you 12 000 virgin pop princesses who sold their souls to him for fame. (the catch is their cherry is unpopable and has spikes in it – they didn't read the fine print)

I have been a huge fan of both Megadeth and Metallica since the early 80’s. I was the only kid in grade 4 who knew who they were and still have a 20+ probably generation copy of Kill’em All.
Either way the primary reason I started playing guitar was because of Dave.
I can’t wait until this new album comes out and will be in the front row when they come through my town.
As for RtL… it’s a long time in the coming and I can’t wait to hear the difference between the two takes of the song.

Of course, after 50 years of not letting go the Metallica thing, even when the Metallica guys never cared about Megadeth, of course the last song of the last Megadeth album must be related to Metallica. It's like if you would have never forgotten your high school GF, and years later, after a whole life with wife and kids, being a dying 80 year old man, you put your high school GF in your will. WTF 😂

I'm sure Metallica can still do a good job playing Ride the Lightning, but they're not really that band anymore.
Megadeth can pull this off because they're STILL a band that plays songs like Ride the Lightning.

I honestly wanted one last session with James and Lars even if it was only to rerecord Metallica songs with Dave in the recording. I remember even when I first listened to Metallica albums back in the day you could hear the songs Dave cowrote because of the chord structure that was distictly Dave's.
