Actually it looks delicious, but if you want to make a southern cobbler, put the fruit on the bottom, then make a biscuit dough or a pastry crust, and then put that OVER the fruit and sugar. That way you will have a crispy crust.

The last time I tried to make a peach cobbler I used waaaaay too much butter on the bottom of the dish I put it in. Ended up tasting more like a butter cobbler.

Matteo, you're a delight to watch no matter what you're making or watching! As a former pastry chef, I think you made a buckle, not a cobbler, but it looked scrumptious anyway (cobbler has fruit on the bottom, biscuit dough on top)! Some people are saying you made a clafoutis, but that's an eggy custard batter, not flour-based. Pardon my nerding! 🤓 Also, your kitchen ware is highly enviable ❤

Is it me or do you pour the peaches on the butter and then pour the batter on the 🍑then bake?
