I don't have synesthesia, or maybe not to that degree. But I do see faces in road signs, especially speed limit signs. DO NOT ENTER signs have a menacing grin. The 35 looks like a face giving you a side-eye and a smile. 25 looks like Buddha , closed eyes, slight smile. Zero ending numbers do look like they have opened round mouth. I see the faces like normal, top to bottom. I know this is pareidolia, but mine is weirder than the normal person.

The problem with people with synesthesia is that they write stuff aimed at kids. I thought for years that something was wrong with me because I did not experience colors when listening to music, and not realizing that the writer had a neurological defect being presented as normal. Talk about wanting attention.

Wow, never knew that about you. It’s so hard to explain this process to someone who doesn’t experience it. Sounds like ours is somewhat similar based on this video alone but I also have gender/motion associations to numbers and letters.

I have this too, but I didn't know it was a thing until my early thirties when I randomly read an article about it. Up until then I didn't know that not all people associate spesific colors with letters, numbers, weekdays, months and people.😂 I don't even know how that would work, is it all black and white?

Nick’s limited exposure, education and intellect makes me insane. And he’s so angry when he lacks understanding about anything. As a person who works with children with special needs, children who have neuro differences, I just want to poke his eyes 3 Stooges style. As a Pennsylvanian, I can honestly say he’s a very typical rural/small town Pennsylvanian.

I have this but I think it’s partially from the letter and number refrigerator magnets I had as a little kid. They were hand me downs so some were missing and as a result I don’t have a color for every letter and some letters have more than one color for example I had a yellow L and an orange L. Matteo do you like Kandinsky? because a lot of his paintings are of music

I used to work at Starbucks and I had a friend who liked one specific beverage but could never remember what it was called. He has synesthesia and just always asked me for "the drink that tastes like green." (The drink was not green to be clear.)
