Im Latino, like 2/3 of my whole family 16 aunts/uncles, 55 cousins, like 100+ extended cousins migrated here. Like 98% (all but 3-4) came legally and the ones that didn't are in the process. Bruh it can be done. Both my family's were poor, my dad's side dirt dirt poor, like no electricity and plumbing poor. I was born here. I understand how fucked up those foreign countries can be, but its simply not sustainable to let everyone in. Asylum, refugee whatever tf. They have to fix their own countries . The US profits from destabilizing countries. Its fucked up, plenty of Latin American countries were ruined with US intervention, Banana Republics for example. But it is what it is. I’ve really appreciated a lot of your content over the years — you’ve got a sharp mind for producing these, no doubt. That said, over the last 6 months or so, I’ve started to feel like some of your arguments are being made in bad faith, or at least without the full context.

For example, at 24:09 Donald Duck isn’t calling all migrants animals or non-human. He’s referencing the 22-year-old nursing student from Georgia who was brutally murdered, and the suspect was described by authorities as an "illegal alien animal.” That may be extreme language, but it wasn’t just thrown out there randomly.

I know you usually do deep research — that’s why stuff like this stands out to me. I still see a lot of valid points in your video, but there are moments where it feels like you're not looking past the narratives being pushed by the media or political class.

(And just to be clear — I’m not a MAGA guy, as the Donald Duck reference might suggest, but I’m definitely not a Democrat either.)

Honestly, if someone like Vivek or JD Vance was leading these conversations, I think we could see real economic and social change — if individual states are willing to accept that kind of help.

I guess I don't understand why people seem to think it should be "easier" to gain citizenship in another country.. I have tried to make plans to live in other countries long term and it's probably even more complicated because the countries I want to go to aren't even bordering. I honestly don't get why some think they just have a "right" to jump a fence, get paid under the table avoiding taxes, and sending quantities of their money back to Mexico. That's not the American dream.. For one the American Dream is a joke but the idea of it definitely involves paying taxes to the IRS for money made. I have known MANY families that work in seasonal crops, both American and Mexican and I don't see how its fair that Josh, who also has a wife and two kids, rent, and utilities also has to be taxes on his work weeks, but Jose who has a wife and kids back in Mexico can live with his 4 cousins in the same home and not pay any taxes other than on the food they split. But, we should make it easier for them??? not people already living here??
