My friend of 55 years, a Nurse Practitioner on a reservation in South Dakota, when asked "what do the people around there think" (politics), she said "No politics on Federal Land". I said the "White House is on Federal Land." I cant be the only one who knows this. What am I missing?

When I heard from the administration this was "manifest destiny" I realized that this was the same old cavalry of the 1800's. Indigenous people and the people on board with that must rise up. I do not want the same destination to happen. It can't.
I was brought up in the east with these same aggressors. I did not even know who I was until I was in my 50's. Although I am white, I am a Montessorian and believe if we don't succeed in stopping this, addiction, mental health issues, the rape of the land (to name a few) will prevail.
