I always thought that the song Mannequin from Culture Clubs third album Waking Up With the House on Fire should have been used in this movie even if it was just while the credits rolled at the end. The song would have fit the movie so well

This was actually a cute movie ; some of it probably didn't age well( like the stereotypically flamboyant gay black male character tho he was pretty funny) but overall a fun time capsule from the 1980's. P.S. my mom saw it w/me & told me that it was a remake of a 1940's era movie called "One Touch Of Venus".
