Everybody has responsibility to mature their shadow, identifying “grievances” is part of that. If you don’t do it your a destructive force and the more force you have the more destructive you can be. Stoicism certainly has its place and here I think we are hearing people seeing “privilege” from a materialistic superficial perspective which is way off from truth. The question. Is simply are you doing the work not how wealthy were your parents (in THIS life remember). Much of the issues people “complain” about are karmic ties they can’t process, billionaire or destitute it’s all the same.

Not me. I was fortunate to retire very early, and I enjoy it. I work for myself, probably around 20 hrs a week, but if I feel like taking time off, then I do. I wish everyone was able to do that.

You go to work everyday doesn't mean the same thing today, Malcolm. Such a boomer thing to say. That used to be enough for most people. Now it's not. 40 years of stagnant wages means you go to work and after that, go to work at a 2nd job, then maybe sleep and go to a 3rd job.

This is what white supremacy and Christian nationalism looks like. In the face of all evidence to the contrary, this 37% will ALWAYS support Trump. It's bigotry, faith, ignorance, grift, and stupidity all ruled into one. Black Americans understand what this is. This is the same thing that would allow them to think the most brilliant Black rocket scientist is a "DEI hire" with "low IQ". The evidence and facts dont matter to these people.

"You go to work everyday" is a mantra ive had since i was young. My father put me to work on the farm while my friends were having fun. I hated him for it at the time. Now everyone is forced to work and i have such a high threshold that work is a breeze and i love it. Ive built a life through dedication and consistency. I dont have material wealth…yet. but my life is truly blessed through the work
