I saw my MD last week. We have known each other (originally professionally, when I was practicing as an RN & he made rounds to see his patients. & for the last almost 20 years, he has been our family physician).
Anyway, I wore of my many "special" t-shirts. This one is a retro V necklace that says "Rejecting Kings Since 1776."
After my appointment, where we covered my MANY specialist visits & a cardiac procedure I had, he gestures toward my shirt & said quietly, "You, too?"
The words took me aback.
Although I HAD been thinking about him & his family.
He is originally from Iran.
I quickly determined that we are in 100% agreement about what was the usa.
ANYWAY, he & a group of physician friends meet weekly.
My MD's sub-specialty is gerontology.
He said 2 years ago that DJT showed clear signs of fronto-temporal dementia.
And now we ALL see it.
Unless one has MAGA goggles on.
Also, decades of fecal incontinence (discussed by crew of that horrible "reality" TV show that I never watched). And 100% serious cardiac issues, pulmonary hypertension.
