Mad Max 2 felt like a suicide mission because Max's car was destroyed, his dog was killed, he had nowhere to go and nothing to lose. All he knew to do was get the hell out of there. and let the chips fall where they may.

At the end of the day, Max has been a side character in every movie except the first. Everyone else has been more interesting. Furious is a Greek odyssey told in the Wastelamd and is amazing.

I'm sitting here at 10:15 saturday night and 10:30 is the last showing. I really thought I was going to go see this film but I just am tired of all the damned prequels. I want to see the story go forward. I guess what I am saying is I don't need to know how Furiosa became what the character was in Fury Road. Its just not necessary or at least not important enough to leave the house and go pay to find out. I'd rather just stay home and relax.

I understand where he’s coming from but… lost all respect when he used Nine Inch Nails meets Speed Racer kind of world as an example example of something that ain’t going to make me feel anything.

Fury Road does not make me want to watch it. Mel Gibson alone makes me excited for his movie. I don't know what you were saying about him or what you were implying. It makes me give you a thumbs down.

Mad Max: Fury Road should have had more Mad Max in it. Furiosa was basically the main character – which is okay but I feel they wasted Tom Hardy. Now they are making more "Mad Max" movies with no Tom or Mad Max. Mad Max is a character not a universe. Furiosa: A Mad Max Saga… hmmmmm can we make a post-apocalyptic universe without the Mad Max branding? It could open up a whole world of new characters and stories.

actually I hated Fury Road. nonsense.all show no substance. and surprisingly the normally amazing Tom Hardy is boring, and not a true Mad Max… Road Warrior is superior, due to "realism", and probably due to the cheaper budget.
