Very late to the comments I'm aware, but I used to have/play this game when I was a kid, and I feel awful saying it guys, but it's literally a case of Ninja Turtles where you just walk passed the dripping potion. You just have to let the leaping book jump and just don't stop moving when you go under it. Also, the sparkly shoes have a couple different features to them, not only are they an extra hitpoint, but they allow you to double jump, and you can jump on enemies heads to kill them.

I'm so glad Macaulay Culkin turned out to be a cool guy even after The System got through with him. I'd love to give him a firm handshake and a nod someday. For what it's worth, Mr. Culkin, I think the world's a better place with you in it.

7:22 "Imagine a 9 year old playing this.." That would be me lol. Played the hell out of this game and could get to the end. Collecting all the library cards was a complete waste of time, just one screen with a congrats and that was it.

This movie has some cool moments and the animation is not bad. Another lost relic of the 90s.

Yes. There is a guy and that's me. I have beaten this game many times when I was like 7-8 , used to be one of my favorite SEGA games 😀 and no offense guys, but this game is not hard at all (games back then in general used to be way harder than they are now, I can give you hundreds of examples), you guys are just bad. Definition of insanity "doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different outcome" how many times did you try to run past that acid drop? :DD

My son loves this game, lols. He is determined to beat it! He was surprised to find out that non of his friends had an SNES OR NES game systems, lols. I explained to him that the systems and games were from when i was a kid. He was eager to show his friends. To my surprise they actually loved the game systems and games too!!!
