LIVE: Federal Reserve Chair Powell speaks after leaving rates unchanged
Federal Reserve officials left interest rates unchanged but downgraded their view of the US economy.
Officials said recent indicators suggest that growth of economic activity moderated in the first half of the year, and the labor market is “solid” and inflation “remains somewhat elevated.”
