As I have done with all their albums, I pre-ordered it. I have been a fan from the start. This is real pastoral music to me, steeped in the English aesthetic, dipping its toes into Jazz/Rock Fusion at times. It's restrained, song-oriented, eminently lyrical. John Young is not afraid of the silences between notes. His phrasing is easy and measured; he allows the music to breathe. That's rare in contemporary prog rock music these days.

Dave Bainbridge is wonderfully accomplished musician, composer and producer whom I have been following since the early days of Iona. I shall certainly check this out; thanks for the alert.

Lifesigns have just released a gig date to a town just three miles away, how can I turn them down. This advert reinforces the need to see them live.

I saw them live last year and they were absolutely tremendous. They really deserve to be more well known.

I already have this album and I had chance to see Lifesigns live – they are absolutely great musicians and what they deliver in matter of progressive rock is step ahead of most other bands.
