For a song that starts with complete silence if you removed the drums, he pretty much nailed the intro in his own way.
A lot of the song lined up very well with the theme of the song. Especially that funky part he did during the "prog section".

The evolution of percussive and rolls. I love the Baard played his own thoughts and takes, regardless of whether he wanted to be the original part. The breakdown was very Pantera light originally and imo it became something better, more interesting with Baard.

This guy is definitely a great drummer, but as a music lover—and especially a fan of rock in general—I’m really disappointed that younger generations know so few classic songs, or, as in this case, tell you, “I know this one from Guitar Hero,” rather than having listened to it 150,000 times because they’re rock/metal fans.
