I’m also a victim of learning, at the age of 50, that the person I was told and grew up with was not my biological father. No one mistreated me, but it is true when people claim they felt something was off and now I know why. My mom died when I was 27 and my bio dad when I was 16, so of course I never had an opportunity to know him or ask questions of anyone 15:46. Then the father I grew up with died without knowing the truth, so it has left me feeling away for sure.

Justice for Nolan and his family. Christine is just so amazing. I feel for them every day and I hope they know that people from all walks of life and of all races are in awe of the class and dignity in unthinkable circumstances.

    3. I wish my dad loved me more than he told me…I didn't grow up w/ my dad…he wld call me sporadically when I was growing up, I remember seeing him for "my" 1st time when I was 8yo (for maybe 30 mins to an hr & showed him the Sears wish book of all the toys I wanted- wishful thinking for sure) didn't see him again till I was bout 14 (he took me to met his brother) then I saw him again when was 19 then he moved to MS and didn't see him again til the summer of 2015 & by then he was sick w/ cancer & he passed in 2016….

I remember my brother who I just found out wasn’t my dad’s son. I would wonder why my mom treated him so badly. She was raped by someone who we don’t know who he was and pretty much blamed my brother for that.

I grew up wondering why my father didn't love me. A little girl feeling unwanted, being hit all the time, I became very angry. Then at 20 I found out my real dad wanted me but my grandmother made my mom marry someone else. It freed me but I can never forgive my gmom for doing that to us. I was never able to meet or even see a pic of my real dad. I just know he loved me.
