I went to see a Motley Crue tribute band. I was so disappoint to see the bass player really playing and the singer really singing, it was nothing like the real Motley Crue, you'd never catch the real Motley Crue actually playing their instruments and really singing.

Saw LA Guns in a club in 2023. They were awesome, and everything was live. Even got to hang out with Tracii Guns and Phil Lewis a little bit after the show. They were as cool as could be.

I agree that Nikki isn’t much of a bass player, and gotten worse….but he was the songwriter and therefore is motley…that can’t be taken away from him or argued

That's rich coming from the same guy that walked into the bowling alley in inentor, Ohio to play a show and acted like he was at a huge arena…..ignoring the 30 people that drove through a dangerous, icy blizzard to be there …….and here's this arrogant dick acting like he's too good, too big of a star to be nice to his fans. True trash bag Mr Lewis is, all 85 pounds of him

I got Nikki to block me on socials…
He posted a photo of himself in souncheck, and my comment wrote, "Hey Nikki, did you use tracks in sounchecks as well?"

… he removed me from the page and blocked me on socials, I can find him in a search 🤣🤣🤣

Phil was never a good singer so I’m surprised he has anything to say about anyone. LA Guns was never even in the same league as Motley. Not even close. Yes Vince sucks now and he should have retired a century ago but so do does Phil and he always did.

My brother and sister in law saw Phil solo and after the show. They helped them back up their equiptment. They said he was so grateful, nice and humble. He kept asking if they really like the show. The guy is aces

sixx is a poser, period. Stupid douche got started on bass by stealing the wrong instrument. He thought he was stealing a guitar. He's an idiot…

He's right narcissixx is and always has been a fraud, could never play, can't play, even after recent lessons at his age, strutting round like a star, what a dick, deep down he knows he's a nobody, although he did invent an automatic bass you just hold it and it plays

I like LA Guns, but all the shit talking about Motley is funny, how they never bought a record and all that but completely copied and we’re influenced by their style for sure

Just saw LA Guns a week ago. Phil sounds amazing. And he sings live, no back tracks or any bullshit like that. Tracii can still destroy and melt faces with his guitar. The entire band was tight and sounded great. Last time I saw Motley Crue, Vince could barely belt out a nice scream. And Nikki moves around so much on stage I dont even think his bass is actually plugged into anything lol

I mean nobody could call Motley Crue a complete Milli Vanilli Sham . They have played their instruments on most to their Work for Decades . But they are in their 60s and can't maintain the Young Motley Crue Level of Playing their songs anymore Live . Might as well call Kiss a Fraud too . Kiss brought in Ghost / Shadow Session Guitar or Drum Players to play on some of their Best Albums . They Bob Kulick on a Couple and had Vinnie Vincent writing some of their songs in the 80s when he wasn't even a part of Kiss . Nikki Sixx isn't a Virtuoso Bass Player , but he is such a Great Song writer for Motley Crue to make up for his Bass Playing Deficiencies . So it's kind of a Catch 22 dealing with his Importance to the Band . Without his Song Writing personality , and Leadership , they aren't the same Band .

I believe Phil on this one. Motley was all, and still is, about the image. I’m fairly certain most rock stars are narcissistic in nature but Nikki Sixx is on a whole other level of his own.

People are shocked? They sounded terrible live all through out the 80s usually. Rumors Nikki never played on any of the records, also rumors for years he didn't even write the songs. At least not by himself. Back then nobody gave a shit if they were playing live or not.

Been a huge motley fan for 35 + years until recently. I feel so stupid and I feel used for so long. I actually thought we were a family in a way. I’ve spent so much money on these misers who don’t care about their fans. Screw them. “Hey Motley, you can’t take your precious money with you when you die”. “No one will give a sh*t about you when you’re gone”. Don’t go away mad, just go the he** away.

Love L.A guns but MÖTLEY CRÜE RULES. You can’t beat their 1st 2 albums. Motley became the benchmark for everyone back then like it or not. I actually always thought Tracii Guns would’ve been a great fit for Motley 🤙🏼

I can't understand why they never played Vince vocals in the background so he can sing to it ? I clearly seen Nikki with hands raised in the air and there was bass picking going on in the song he was not playing ? Why 🤔 not to hard to play those songs on the bass backing track the vocals please bloo blah blee gotta pee .
