I saw Ruble a few years ago at an online film festival. I never knew that so many native artists had so much influence on the music of today. I saw War Pony at a Dutch film festival in January. I thought the film was good; I understood the references, but I was also a bit apprehensive because I had seen some of imagery like the buffalo before (Longmire) and Thanksgiving. The reviews in the Netherlands were positive, except for the Dutch Movie Paper (Filmkrant). They are (always) very acidic, called it 'poverty porn' and that the makers (non-natives) are sympathetic towards the Lakota, but it remains a white gaze . For Rez Dogs, we have to wait for a couple of months before it is streamed here, but I loved the first two seasons and I have already seen some bits on social media, so I'm looking forward to that.

I hope Rez Dogs gets a physical release. I'd love to own a copy of the show and I'm scared it might disappear from Hulu.
