KILLDOZER: How a Man Made His Own Tank | Tales From the Bottle

Qxir | April 25, 2026

‘Tales From the Bottle’ tells the tale of the KILLDOZER, the man who made it, and the why, the what and the how.

“Marvin John Heemeyer (October 28, 1951 – June 4, 2004) was an American welder and an automobile muffler repair shop owner most known for his rampage with a modified bulldozer. Outraged over zoning disputes, he armored a Komatsu D355A bulldozer with layers of steel and concrete and used it on June 4, 2004 to demolish the town hall, the former mayor’s house, and other buildings in Granby, Colorado. The rampage ended when the bulldozer got stuck in the basement of a Gambles store he was in the process of destroying. Heemeyer then killed himself with a handgun.

Heemeyer had been feuding with Granby officials, particularly over fines for violating city ordinances and a zoning dispute regarding a concrete batch plant constructed opposite his muffler shop”

Whistlin Diesel rebuilt the Killdozer exactly as it was originally designed…. Now the state he lives in is repeatedly harassing him (arrested more than once) over tax issues. You can’t make this stuff up! Man I pray he goes crazy and durability tests Killdozer in his local town😂😂😂😂😂

4:28 In America, especially rural areas, that raises exactly ZERO alarms. You could build it in your front yard, guns and all, and no one would bat an eye. I'm not being hyperbolic for comedic purposes, either. It's simply the truth. Even after this incident, you could still do that. You might get a few questions if the person knows this story, but nothing else.
A guy in the next town over from mine literally built a real, functioning Halo warthog, which he drives ON THE ROAD, and nobody cares even a little bit.

Your little "what if" / sketch there was absolutely how it would be, no joke. Hell, it probably did happen exactly like that at least once 😂

    Great video, bro!

I like how humble Qxir is at the end of the video. Happy with the few views and subscribers he received so far, and now over a million subscribers and most videos hitting over 100s of thousands views. Well done mate!
