Few people have cut into the music world as sharply as Ken Pomeroy. With her lyrical precision and the tasteful backing of Dakota McDaniel there is no question as to why she finds herself ever more atop the modern folk world.
Ken uses her music to lend her heart to others generously and with a level of vulnerability that is impossible to miss. But Wrango isn’t that. Wrango is a love song to the dog that fills her cup back up.
Our friend Bradley invited us out to his family land outside Tulsa to capture a few songs with Ken. As we pulled in, her truck tire blew and the golden hour shoot slipped below the horizon. Plans changed, we lit a fire and let the cicadas sing along. Ken has never done anything less than steal our hearts. It’s a real honor to have her back.

Love you guys and love your honesty and recognition of what you want and what you don't. This song is a great example of Dak's chops on the guitar and your subtleties in note choice… And it's just an honest love song to an imperfect animal, and who's dog is perfect anyway?!

Oof, I have had many dogs, each of them legendary in their own way but it's just not even close.
If only you could understand what you are giving up, then again in a way it is best you never do if that's you decision, just keep in mind, time flies and feelings change.
