I literally stopped watching the movie after 15 mins because SO many absolutely ridiculous things had already happened. The wrapper in the door was almost enough to stop me watching but after Scarlett not only manages to find a car in the MIDDLE OF MANHATTAN but also manages to find it when it’s stopped and for no good reason sit in the back seat (my car doors lock automatically unless I deliberately choose to unlock them all) rather than just have a conversation with the driver when he INEXPLICABLY GETS OUT OF HIS CAR, I was done.

One over looked blunder: when they’re preparing to rappel down to the nest, Johansson’s character claims it’s a 5.11, 5.13 difficulty rating, which is two vastly different difficulties and only applies to CLIMBING, not rappelling. There were a ton more errors in that regard, but that was the main, and most hilarious one.

What’s kinda funny is that in the original Jurassic Park Alan Grant had to inflate a raft right in front of a sleeping T-Rex through the same method and it did not wake up so it felt like a reference to that.

How big is the island? couldnt you just wait the 24hours on the coastline, maybe barricade yourself, shoot flares after 24 hours or when you see the lights from the rescue team and then regroup WITHOUT the family or the evil guy? Is the island that large that its not possible? surely they chose a small one to stay off the radar for this long right?

You skipped over the flying dino part and how convenient ancient civilization stairs are available all the way to the bottom after they had somehow scaled the shear cliff up.
