Jurassic World was a massive hit in 2015 and therefore, we’ve gotta a whole lot more dinosaurs over the past few years, with Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom in 2018 and now, Jurassic World Dominion. Now, dinosaurs have spread all over the world, which is cool, but also there are some bugs and a kidnapping. And we’re heading back to a dino reserve park.
Jurassic World Dominion definitely raises a few questions. Like what are the characters names again? Oh yeah! How strong is Owen Grady, and how FAST is Claire Dearing? At what point did Lewis Dodgson transform into Apple CEO Tim Cook? Do plane crashes ever hurt anyone? What about hypothermia? Did Owen just choke out a dinosaur? How is that hand move so confusing to dinosaurs?

It really bothers me that Laura Dern et al. were ok doing this movie. It is such a gross and dumb, reductive distillation of an originally great movie. I thought y'all were supposed to be artists, and you were previously involved in making great art, And this…this is no good. And I don't know how you didn't know that reading the script.

I saw this movie in theatres, and when I later described the plot to my friend he pointed out I never once mentioned dinosaurs in my plot summary

Seeing the scene of the 2 massive carnivorous dinosaurs in the town square with the guy on the scooter just riding along like theres not 2 massive carnivorous dinosaurs running around is crazy to me, like whos idea was that?

Awesome but I have 2 nitpicks.
Pterosaurs flew, but were not dinosaurs and the name of the "final boss" dinosaur is pronounced "Gi-ga-no-to-saurus" and not "Gigantosaurus" (not sure if that was a gag but they didn't do the "is that how you pronounce it?" "It might be" thing)

It's actually impressive how badly they dropped the ball with this reboot trilogy. Dinosaurs taking over the world should have been the basis of it from the beginning, it's what people want and there's so many ideas you could do with it. Instead we only had it happen in the last movie and it didn't make a lick of difference.
