I love how you can see a character arc for the producer guy in this compilation… he starts by getting increasingly frustrated about how dumb the plot is in each new sequel, but then sees that they're all still making tons of money anyways and gives up 😂

9:41 I don’t remember if the segment of people on boats being eaten by dinosaurs was in the first or second JP book; but, it was clearly stated that it was velociraptors, and in a manner that actually made sense to the plot.
In The Lost World, they cut all of that out, with nary an explanation, leading to the utter ridiculous notion that it was the t-rex🤦🙄😆😆

These movies sound like straight garbage. Expensive, shiny, distracting garbage for short attention spans. So, perfect for the modern world.
People could pretend their interest in this twaddle was at all related to science, paleontology or a sincere interest in learning about dinosaurs. (While they sit in darkened theatres saying, 'Hur-dur, dinosaurs!') Thus making justifications for spending money on this tripe Super Easy, Barely an Inconvenience.

Thanks for that compilation! Great references to, by now, six timeless classics from Hollywood. No, honestly, I find it astonishing, how Dinosaurs always attract a huge audience, not matter the actual quality of the movie. (Well, the effects are mostly good.) I wonder, when the characters from the very first movie will show up again. Any bets?
