Britney Fox was basically Michael Kelly Smith's solution to getting kicked out of Cinderella. He basically just threw together his own version of Cinderella, complete with the gravel Falsetto singer dressed like a pirate

These guys have been answering the question for 2 years now where is Billy with he is recovering from an injury. That's all they say. he's recovering from an injury. I've known people that have been damn near dead and back to work in a few weeks, and these guys for years have been saying Billy's not in the band right now because he's recovering from an injury…….crazy. Obviously I do not know these guys, prob all nice guys. But this is a case of musicians that will take literally any gig. I couldn't do it. IF somebody came to me and said you want to play in Britny Fox I'd be like hell no, we're not Britny Fox…HA!

Back when Facebook was still a place where you could actually contact people, I spoke with Dean. On the phone. He possesses a lot of bitterness about the Britny years. He had not a lot good to say about it. He actually resented the band having one of the top videos on MTV.

It’s interesting that bands from the 1980s are doing the same exact thing that Doo-Wop groups from the 50s would do.

Not a single member even remotely connected with the group at ANY point and fans just being sold on straight nostalgia.

Love how the average passive music fan doesn’t understand that a band is made up of personalities that make a certain sound together. One person leaves, a person gets replaced or even when a band adds to the original lineup, and that “sound” changes. Now it’s just the band’s name that and their old catalog that “sells”. Sad.
